24 Days of Christmas | Cosy Christmas party with friends

There's nothing better than gathering your friends around for a cosy night in all year round, but when it comes to Christmas time it's way way more exciting. I personally prefer having this kind of cosy night ins with friends than going out for dinner or for a night out, i just prefer quiet environments and i truly believe that the time you spend together n a night in os more valuable. The crowded places just dont seam like a great place to hang out and enjoy time with friends, but oh well that is just me...
Anyway, for those who are just like me or that the parents dont allow just yet t have Christmas nights out this post is for you. Whether it is just to enjoy some time with your friends or for a Christmas party with the existing "Secret Santa" i've got you covered from food to movie time.
Dress CodeA party should always have a dress code, believe you me that is really really important. Throw back a few years ago, i did not check hat the event i was going had a dress code and i basically turned up wearing a normal party dress where everyone was wearing costumes (bloody awkward!!). Make everyone wear Christmas themed Pjs or at least a Christmas jumper, i'll left a few ideas for you in case you can't find the perfect Christmas attire.
The first one is from Cath Kidston which honestly is quite expensive but they are pretty good (50£), the other two are from Primark which you already know that it will be way cheaper (11£). Although i really love Cath Kidston's pj's i must say that my ultimate favourite is the last the Mickey Mouse one from Primark.
Christmas Photo BoothA photo booth if freaking great for a party, weather it is a home party or a proper night out party.. I mean, who doesnt like to kind of dress up and act silly for photos. You certainly have an empty wall on your living room that you can use and i bet everyone is going to remember your party. These photo booth pieces are very cheap on ebay (3.99£) but if you dont want to wait for the delivery you can always go to John Lewis or Next ´though bare in mind that it will be expensive (8.99£).
Christmas PlaylistIt wouldn't be a Christmas Party if there isn't some music in the air, turn up the music in the living room with some Mariah Carey or Justin Bieber. I've got the perfect playlist for you on my Spotify, make sure to check it out HERE.
DecorationsDon´t go crazy with decorations 'cause i bet you already have the house full of Christmas stuff around, just add some more fairy lights in the room where you'll be doing the party. I'd suggest you add some candles so the room looks amazing when you're watching the movies with the lights off, the "Merry Christmas" banner is great to put on the wall where you'll be doing the Photo booth. Similar items can be bought on Poundland or Primark, the lights and the candles are from ebay but you can buy them cheaper at Primark.
Snacks/GoodiesThere is a traditional dish that must be on your list, the one and only Popcorn that every movie night has to have. If you are not a good cook or rather buy stuff at the supermarket there are a few party foods that everyone love at reasonable prices. Stuff like: miced pies; chinese crepe; pizza; doughnuts; gingerbread mans; cupcakes; muffins; chips and dips and so much more. Make sure to inlcude a big old box of Heroes or Roses (love them!!).
Christmas MoviesElf is one of my ultimate favourites when it comes to Christmas movies, but the other two also have a special place in my heart. Elf is a story about Buddy who's trying to restore Christmas, Love actually is a movie that intelines nine different stories which is quite fascinating and last but not least the movie that everyone knows and always watch on Christmas day.. the one and only "Home alone" which for those who dont know the story (where in the world have you been?!) is about a little boy who's family forget at home during Christmas time.If you wanna cook, i'll be posting a few recipes that i am going to film and photograph over the weekend as i'll have some extra help to do things properly.. soooo stay tunned!

So that is it for today, i am sorry for my absence but i wasn´t feeling that great but anyways i am back! See you tomorrow for something exciting babes!
xx
